How do I request an Expert Cancer Opinion consultation?
If you have not already done so, please sign up for an account by clicking here, otherwise login to your account and follow the simple prompts shown on your screen.

What can I expect in my Expert Opinion's report?

  • Stage of cancer
  • Case Summary
  • Treatment options based on stage and patient condition
  • Prognosis including median survival estimate or recurrence risk

How fast can I expect my consultation to be ready?
Within 72hrs of your request, with all medical documents uploaded and fees paid. In some tough cases more time may be required. If this is the case you will be notified by us via email, about the estimated turnaround.

What documents do I need to submit and how do I submit them?
Please submit the following documents in order for our Cancer Doctor to give you the best possible assistance. If you don’t have all the documents, please upload those you can; and we will let you know if what you have submitted is sufficient.

  • Your current cancer doctor’s report, with a list of your medications
  • Pathology reports from cancer related biopsies or surgeries
  • Hospital discharge summaries
  • Reports from surgeries and procedures
  • Reports of diagnostic tests (Radiology and blood tests)
  • Additional documents if available such as genetic testing

( IMPORTANT: Please submit all your documents together for a timely response. If we need further information, it will be requested of you. If those are not available, you will be advised to get them before an Expert Opinion can be rendered on the case )

What happens after I submit my documents?
USCancerOpinion will find and assign your case to the appropriate oncologist. The oncologist will review your records and summarize all your documents in a consultation. Once the consultation is ready you will receive an email.

Won't my current doctor be offended that I'm seeking another cancer opinion consult?
Many patients are reluctant to seek another opinion because they think they may offend their physician. However, taking another opinion will not offend competent physicians. Your physician understands that cancer is a serious diagnosis and there are often many treatment options from which to choose. Physicians want their patients and their families to be reassured and feel confident when making those difficult treatment choices. In fact, your doctor would probably urge you to get another opinion consultation from other experts.

When should I consider getting a USCancerOpinion.com online Cancer Opinion consultation?
You should consider getting a consultation when:

  • You desire to get cancer care options that are on par to those given to patients in USA
  • You want reassurance of your cancer diagnosis and treatment recommendations and options that have been suggested are your best
  • If you are facing a life-threatening cancer, and time is crucial in getting another recommendation.
  • You are not able to travel outside your area to visit a nationally-recognized cancer physician, or your health restricts your capability to travel.

Can USCancerOpinion.com receive medical records in languages other than English?
At the present time, it is necessary to receive all medical reports in English. Please get all your records translated into English from a translation service in your country and upload them along the translation service certificate.
